Introduction

Macquarie University Library has a customized gateway to Ingenta Connect. It consists of access via fax to articles from journals not held by the Library; and online articles, providing access to electronic journals subscribed to via Catchword and also those electronic journals not held by the Library. Ingenta Connect is continually updated and is current within 24 hours of receipt and processing of the journal issues.

Within the gateway, you are able to freely access the electronic (PDF and HTML) full-text of articles from those publications to which Macquarie has subscription rights.

If the electronic full-text is not freely available in Ingenta Connect, Macquarie University Library will fund the electronic or fax delivery of articles from journals NOT owned by the Library using the Library deposit account. For more information, contact your Liaison Librarian or staff in Document Supply.

Macquarie University Library subscribes to many of the titles indexed in Ingenta Connect. These titles display either an LC call number, in which case they are available from the Library, or the name of an electronic journal service, all of which are accessible from the Library's homepage via Journal Finder. Requests from Ingenta Connect for articles from journals that Macquarie holds will not be funded, but you may pay for them at a reduced rate using a personal credit card.
