What is the MQID?

Students are given a username and password by the University. This is known as the MQID.

During 2005 systems will be changing to Student ID Number access, replacing the use of MQID and providing consistent sign on.

To assist you through the change over period, you can link to a Summary Table containing guidelines to which Username and Passwords are needed to access each system. For this Summary Table go to: http://www.library.mq.edu.au/help/passwords.html#idtable

The MQID is also required to access some unit homepages on the University web site. You may be asked to change your password for your online unit but this is not always the case. (Note: Your new password applies to the unit pages only. Use the original password to access email and Library resources.)
