Student Email
All Macquarie students are issued with a free official University email account which is accessed via myMQ Student Portal.
It is now University policy that the University issued email account will be used for official University communication. All students are required to access their University account frequently. Alternatively, email can be forwarded to another account but each student is responsible for the information sent to a non-Macquarie account and for managing mailbox size to ensure that account remains active.

You can access myMQ Student Portal at https://my.mq.edu.au
If you are a new Student to Sign On to the portal use your Student Number, and your original MQID password ( ie your 2 random characters followed by your date of birth in ddmmyy format). You will be required to change this password on your initial sign on.

Your Email Address can be viewed in the portal.
The student email format will be your first name and surname first.lastn@students.mq.edu.au
Where n=a number used to distinguish you from other students with the same name.
