What is Stack?
Space constraints in the Library have meant that many older works have been relocated from the open shelves to moveable compact storage shelving on Level 1. These older works include pre-1970s serials and low demand material. Stack is divided into two sections:- Call nos. A - N
- Call nos. P - Z
Stack is open to all readers. Details of holdings in this area appear in the Catalogue.
Please be careful when using Stack and ensure that the passageways between the shelves are clear of people, books, and/or stools before you move the shelving.
Where is Stack?
On Level 1 of the Library.
A-N is at the bottom of the stairs, opposite Room 1A/1B;
P-Z is along the corridor and adjacent to the Postgraduate Reading Room.
