Reciprocal Borrowing
Information for Macquarie Borrowers
University Library Australia (ULA) is a national borrowing scheme which
allows students and staff of Australian Vice Chancellors Committee (AVCC)
member Universities to obtain borrowing privileges at other member libraries.
Participating Universities - University Library Australia
ULA applicants apply directly to the University Library they wish to join. Applications are made in person, and there is no need to contact Macquarie University Library. You should check with the host institution before you visit to ensure that you have any documentation necessary for your application to be completed. Please note that some Libraries charge a fee for borrowing.
What You Need to Know:
- Return books to where you borrowed them. Don't return material from other libraries to Macquarie University Library.
- Be aware that borrowing conditions and loan periods vary from one Library to another. Failure to comply with borrowing conditions at the host library may result in your borrowing privileges being blocked at Macquarie University Library.
