Borrowing Agreement with Macquarie University Library

Introduction
This agreement is for a borrowing scheme at Macquarie University Library.

Eligibility
High School students studying the New South Wales Higher School Certificate Extension History course are eligible under this Agreement. Students should be in good standing with their school libraries and be recommended by their schools.

School Indemnity Clause
Each School will indemnify its own students for unpaid fines, loss or damage for material borrowed from Macquarie University Library. Any student having outstanding debts and/or overdue items at Macquarie University Library:

Application Forms
Application forms are available from the principal or delegated officer at each school.

The application form must be completed and signed by the student, a parent or guardian, and the school principal.

Charges
Student will be charged an annual registration fee of $25.00 (inc. GST).

Method of Payment
Students should pay their registration fee to their school. Cheques for payment should be made out to Macquarie University Library. Schools are encouraged to collect individual student registration fees and to then forward application forms and payment for all eligible students to:

Library Associates Cards
Each student will be issued with a Library Associates photo ID card. Applications are processed by Resource Access, Library. Please note: The library will email you to confirm that your application has been processed. If you do not have access to email, please phone the library 9850 7507 to check if your application has been processed. The card entitles holders to borrow a maximum of 5 items for 2 weeks.
