Library Associates
Macquarie University Library offers borrowing privileges to the following
groups.

Associates application form.
Please read carefully the information provided regarding
application procedures and fees. Payment (if required) should be made as soon as possible after submitting your application. Upon creation of your borrower record on the library system, an email message will be sent to you advising you to come to the university to have your card made. Details of where to go will be included in the email message. Payment should be sent to:

Groups eligible to become Library Associates are:
- Macquarie University Casual Staff, Honorary
Associates or Visiting Fellows
To apply for associate membership of the Library proof of current employment/letter from the department must be supplied.
Borrowing privileges are: 20 items for 8 weeks with 2 renewals. - Macquarie University Master Teacher
To apply for associate membership of the Library each application must be verified with the Teacher Education Program. Associate membership for Master Teachers expires on 31st December each year.
Borrowing privileges are: 10 items for 2 weeks with no renewals - Macquarie University Council Member
Associate membership is obtained by applying through Administration in the Registrars Office. Associate membership for Council Members expires on 31st March each year.
Borrowing privileges are: 20 items for 8 weeks with no renewals. - Macquarie Staff Member Retired (of more than 10 years standing)
Each application must be verified by the Library. Associate membership for Retired Staff expires on 31st March each year.
Borrowing privileges are: 20 items for 8 weeks with no renewals. - CSIRO Staff on campus
Associate membership is obtained by applying through the CSIRO Divisional Librarian. Associate membership for CSIRO staff on campus expires on 31st March each year.

Associate membership is obtained by applying through the Library at the College.
Borrowing privileges are for staff: 20 items for 8 weeks with no renewals and for students 5 items for 2 weeks with no renewals. - Partner Schools Teacher
To apply for associate membership of the Library each application must provide a letter of introduction from their school Library.
Associate membership for a Partner Schools teacher expires on 31st December each year.
Borrowing privileges are: 10 items for 2 weeks with 1 renewal. - Sydney College of Divinity/Australian College of Theology
Associate membership is obtained by providing a letter of indemnity from the College. Membership is available to postgraduate students and staff.
Associate membership expires on 31st December each year.
Borrowing privileges are: 10 items for 2 weeks with no renewals. - AFTRS (Australian Film Television and Radio School)
Associate membership is obtained by providing a letter of introduction from the AFTRS library. Payment of $20 pa is required.
Associate membership expires on 31st December each year.
Borrowing privileges are: Staff 20 items for 8 weeks with no renewals and Students 5 items for 2 weeks with no renewals. - Former Macquarie University Staff (more than 2 years standing)
Payment of $55 pa is required.
Associate membership is provided once standing has been verified and payment received.

Associate membership is obtained by providing a copy of Testamur

Payment of $275 pa or $150 per half year is required.
Associate membership is obtained by providing proof of identity and address.

Associate membership is obtained by providing proof of current employment

Associate membership is obtained through the Access Macquarie Administration Office.
Borrowing privileges are: 20 items for 8 weeks with no renewals. - Macquarie University Centre for Open Education Student

Payment of $55 pa is required.
Associate membership is obtained by providing proof of enrolment

Associate membership is obtained through the APAF Office.
Borrowing privileges are: 20 items for 8 weeks with no renewals. - Northern Sydney TAFE staff/student
Payment of $44 pa is required.
Associate membership is obtained by providing proof of enrolment from library. Associate membership expires on 30th January each year.
Borrowing privileges are: 5 items for 2 weeks with no renewals.

Payment of $55 pa is required.
Associate membership is obtained by providing proof of employment. Associate membership is for 1 year from the date of payment.
Borrowing privileges are: 20 items for 8 weeks with no renewals. - Macquarie University Research Park Tenant
Payment of $55 pa is required.
Associate membership is obtained by providing proof of current full-time employment.
Borrowing privileges are: 20 items for 8 weeks with no renewals. - Student of Overseas University
Payment of $55 pa is required.
Associate membership is obtained by providing proof of current enrolment.
Borrowing privileges are: 5 items for 2 weeks with no renewals. - Open Universities Australia Student
Note: Students studying at Macquarie University will be issued with a Macquarie University student ID card and need not apply for associate membership.
Payment of $100 pa for a full year (1yr from date of payment) or payment of $30 per term is required.
Associate Membership is obtained by providing proof of enrolment.
