Lachlan Macquarie:
12 February - 13 July 1822. Records the voyage by the Macquaries from Sydney to England in the Surry; via Cape Horn and St. Salvador (in Brazil). The Surry was commanded by Thomas Raine and carried a crew of thirty sailors. Additional passengers included: Major James Taylor and his son, Lieutenant Hector Macquarie (Macquarie's nephew), personal servants: George and Mary Jarvis, John and Nancy Moore, Ann James and child, Martin Lawlor, James Wait, Thomas Turner, William Walker, Nathaniel Scott, and William Buckle; as well as two steerage passengers: Lambert Eaton, and Private Bowser, of the 48th Regiment.
