Mollie Thomson Room
Policy
The Mollie Thomson Room (located on Level 5) is primarily used for the business activities of the Library and related training sessions during the hours 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The room is available for use by non-Library groups for occasional (not regular) meetings. The room is not available for meetings of clubs or societies, for social functions or as a substitute classroom.
Charges will apply to all non-University groups or University groups conducting fee-based activities, who use the room.
Bookings
The Mollie Thomson Room is normally equipped with:
- overhead projector (user must supply own transparencies and pens)
- whiteboard (use must supply own whiteboard-only pens)
- slide projector
- video projector
- hands-on video replay equipment
- sound relay equipment
- basic PA
- Internet access
Requests for the use of any equipment must be specified at the time of booking to ensure the availability of the equipment. No technical assistance with equipment can be provided.
Availability
The Library has reserved the right to the Mollie Thomson Room on Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursday between the hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Access to this room at short notice, ie 24 hours, on these days can be negotiated for other interested parties subject to Library use.
